Saturday, March 4th, 8pm- Sam Shaber- $6
Touring from her native New York City to Seattle and
back again and again, Shaber has also won awards in
the John Lennon, Billboard, and USA Songwriting
Competitions for her driving melodies, smart lyrics,
and soaring voice. Recently, she also won the ear of
Columbia recording artist/producer Shawn Mullins
("Lullabye"), and the two set about making her latest
album, eighty numbered streets, released in 2003. The
first single, "All of This," about the simplicity and
complexity of life in New York City, reached ..1 on
the Quiznos Subs National In-Store Playlist, ("Well,
you never know what you're gonna get," quips Shaber,)
and both singles have placed on FMQB and the Hot AC
charts.

Friday, March 10th, 8pm- Mieka Pauley- $3
(rescheduled show from cancelled February 11th
performance)
Billboard Magazine compares her to "a young Sarah
McLachlan"; The Boston Globe thinks she's more
"Aretha", but anyone who's seen Mieka Pauley agrees on
one thing - the cafes and clubs of Cambridge, Mass.
have produced the voice of a new generation. Her roots
are the blues, classic soul, R&B, gospel and folk and
the result is a personal brand of pop music all her
own.

--------
Singer-songwriter Kyler takes aim straight at the
heart as she wraps her sultry, molasses-thick voice
around memorable pop melodies and lyrics that are at
once raw, simple, and meaningful. "From the minute she
picks up her acoustic guitar and the first notes
escape her lips, the audience is drawn in and
captivated by her warmth and charm. Her songs mostly
deal with matters of life and love…transforming even
the darkest emotions into dazzling works of beauty and
perfection.

Friday, March 24th, 8pm- Tom Fury- $3
Tom Fury is now a two-person project featuring the
sometimes insane, sporadically subdued, and always
flowing like a menstraul-cycle inside a vacuum-ish,
"smAth", with the help of the lovable yet
violent-when-drunk wonder, Thaddeus. The music runs
the gamut from gnarly buzz-saw guitars choking a
pretty, spacey melody to acoustic dreamscapes to
electronic music that doesn't fear the almighty
country cheese in the sky.

Five2 formed naturally when three women—Uniit Carruyo
(vocals and guitar,) and sisters Charisse and Yvette
Lucente (vocals)—found rare musical chemistry and
forged an instant bond. Since their debut in Fall of
2003, this vocal trio has established a presence on
the Ithaca music scene, captivating listeners with
atmospheric harmonies and tranquil guitar melodies
that imbue contemporary folk music with classic
country and pop sensibilities.
